suggested listening after reading: ‘Dear Summer’ by Jay-Z feat. Memphis Bleek
I was sitting in my parents house as I do now and I was scrolling through my Instagram feed and then pops up SZA in bantu knots and sweatpants with a Hello Kitty filter dancing to a song that I recognized instantly. It was Dear Summer by Jay-Z featuring Memphis Black released in 2005.
The opening line had been my fear of not being able to go outside this upcoming season and with the recent cancellation of more events into June my quick realization of the new reality.
